Laminate Flooring Installation & Warranty

Thank you for choosing our laminate flooring for your home or commercial space. To ensure a successful installation, please follow the guidelines outlined below:

Pre-Installation Preparation:

Ensure that the subfloor is clean, dry, and level. Remove any existing flooring, adhesives, or debris.
Acclimate the laminate flooring in the room where it will be installed for a minimum of 48 hours, with the boxes opened and stacked.

Underlayment Installation:

Lay a suitable underlayment over the subfloor as recommended by the manufacturer.
Install the underlayment perpendicular to the direction of the laminate planks, allowing for a 1/4-inch expansion gap around the perimeter.

Laminate Flooring Installation:

Begin installation in the corner of the room, starting with the grooved side facing the wall.
Use spacers to maintain an expansion gap between the laminate flooring and the walls or fixed objects.
Connect the planks by inserting the tongue into the groove at a slight angle and pressing down until they lock together.
Stagger the seams between the planks, ensuring a random appearance and added stability.
Use a tapping block and rubber mallet to gently tap the planks together for a tight fit.

Finishing Touches:

Trim the last row of planks to fit, leaving a 1/4-inch expansion gap.
Install baseboards or wall moldings to cover the expansion gap around the perimeter.
Install transition pieces where the laminate flooring meets other flooring types or at doorways.
Maintenance and Care:

Regularly sweep or vacuum the laminate flooring to remove dust and debris.
Wipe up spills immediately using a damp cloth.
Avoid using excessive water when cleaning, as moisture can damage the laminate flooring.
Use recommended cleaning products and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for maintenance.
