Installation and Warranty Instructions for 5-Year Residential and 1-Year Commercial SPC Flooring
INSTALLATION
- SPC flooring must be installed on a clean, level, and dry surface.
- The subfloor must be level and free of any protrusions or depressions over 1.5mm within a span of 1.5 meters.
- Leave expansion space around the perimeter of the room and at all vertical obstacles.
- Follow manufacturer-recommended installation instructions for the flooring, including any adhesives, underlayment, or transition strips.
- Do not install flooring in areas that are excessively moist or subject to large temperature swings, such as saunas, steam rooms, or unheated sunrooms.
- Allow the flooring to acclimate to room temperature for at least 48 hours before use.
WARRANTY
- The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, abuse, neglect, accidents, or natural disasters.
- Any warranty claims must be submitted in writing to the manufacturer and must include proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
- The manufacturer reserves the right to inspect and evaluate the flooring before fulfilling any warranty claims.
- The manufacturer may choose to repair or replace any defective flooring.
- The warranty is limited to the cost of the flooring and does not cover any labor or installation costs.
- The warranty replaces all other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- The warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state or province.
- To the extent permitted by law, the manufacturer disclaims any liability for any incidental or consequential damages.
For SPC flooring products that come with built-in underlayment, it is not recommended to use any additional underlayment during installation. Using other underlayment products may compromise the performance of the built-in underlayment and void the product warranty. If additional cushioning or sound-dampening is desired, it is recommended to choose a product that does not have built-in underlayment and to use a separate underlayment that is specifically designed for use with SPC flooring. Any use of unapproved underlayment products may result in damage to the flooring and will void the product warranty.
