Tiles Installation & Warranty
Installation Instructions for Wall and Floor Tile.
INSTALLATION
- Before installation, make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of any contaminants that may prevent proper adhesion. For new walls or floors, allow the surface to dry completely after construction.
- Determine the layout of the tile, including the placement of cut tiles, and mark the surface accordingly. Start by dry laying the tiles without adhesive.
- Mix the tile adhesive according to the manufacturer's instructions, and apply it to the surface using a notched trowel.
- Install the tiles, pressing them firmly into the adhesive and using spacers to maintain a uniform gap between tiles. Use a level to ensure the tiles are installed evenly.
- Allow the adhesive to dry completely before grouting. Remove any spacers and clean any excess adhesive from the tile surface.
- Mix the grout according to the manufacturer's instructions, and apply it to the tile surface using a rubber float. Spread the grout evenly over the surface, making sure to fill all gaps.
- After 10-15 minutes, use a damp sponge to remove excess grout from the surface of the tiles. Rinse the sponge frequently and change the water often to avoid smearing grout onto the tiles.
- Allow the grout to dry completely before using the area.
WARRANTY
Our wall and floor tiles are covered by a limited residential warranty for a period of 10 years and a limited commercial warranty for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, subfloor or surface preparation, or maintenance, or damage caused by natural disasters, excessive moisture, or extreme temperature changes. It also does not cover scratches, chips, or wear and tear caused by normal use.
To make a warranty claim, contact the retailer where the tiles were purchased or contact us directly. Proof of purchase and installation date will be required. We reserve the right to inspect the tiles and determine the validity of the warranty claim.
This warranty is the exclusive remedy and does not cover any incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
